These are stories from real clients over the years. They each have had their own starting point, history, injuries, lifestyle, schedule and preferences. Together, we found a way to get them started with training, a programme and schedule they could stick to, and I supported them along the way to troubleshoot any problems that arose, and evolve their programme as needed.
Hind A
Age 58
Hind had been recently diagnosed with Osteopenia (low Bone Mineral Density a stage before Osteoporosis) and although she had been active her entire life she had no experience with Strength Training. She has been training 2-3 times per week (with frequent breaks for holidays and travel), is now in normal Bone Mineral Density ranges, and can even lift her own bodyweight!

Rosemary had always had difficulty sticking to an exercise regime, and was dealing with shoulder and back injuries. Based on her schedule and preferences, we devised a routine of just 10 mins per day that she was able to commit to, and now she is much stronger, more mobile, and most importantly more confident in her shoulder and back health.

Colin came to me suffering with back pain, and within a few short weeks of two sessions per week the back pain had resolved. We have since been training for a number of years improving his strength, rehabilitating shoulder, elbow and knee injuries that have arisen, all while navigating schedule that seems him travelling for work very frequently.

Although Robin had been very active throughout his life, he had never done any structured strength training, and he could tell that his lack of strength was starting to take its toll. He was also suffering from some degenerative conditions in his knee and shoulder, causing him some fear in starting training on his own. Over the past number of years we have increased his strength dramatically, while managing his knee and shoulder pain, and he has able to keep up his active hobbies of cycling and golf

Emma suffers from Osteoarthritis, mainly presenting as bouts of quite intense knee pain. Through collaboration with her clinical team (physiotherapist and orthopedist), Emma and I have been able to find an exercise routine and schedule that she is able to commit to, even with a travel schedule that is truly hectic.
